ArcherPoint Helps Canali Open Ninth U.S. Boutique in Washington, D.C.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV/LS Retail provider continues to provide technical and training support, including implementation of EMV-ready technology, to world-renowned men’s retail brand

ATLANTA, GA — APRIL 22, 2015 — ArcherPoint, Inc., a Microsoft Dynamics Gold ERP Partner and provider of integrated business solutions for retailers, announced that it has supported Canali, specialists in tailor-made Italian men’s clothing, in the opening of its ninth US boutique, located at 978 I Street NW, Suite 304, Washington, D.C.

Since 1934, Italy-based Canali has been known for “masculine elegance” and a combination of sophistication and wearability. The company, with 236 locations around the world, has been expanding into the US market, opening 9 boutiques and 3 outlet stores, with more planned in the near future. The company made the decision in 2012 to integrate point-of-sale operations and credit card processing with its new accounting systems in all 9 stores, requiring replacing existing operational software. The company chose LS Retail NAV as the software solution and ArcherPoint to manage the implementation, as well as providing technical support and training.

The opening of the D.C. store presented the addition of new and relevant technology: Canali purchased Verifone MX 915 payment terminals, not only providing an enhanced customer experience, but safeguarding customers and the company against fraud and ensuring it is EMV-ready by the October 1st deadline.

As with the previous store openings, ArcherPoint staff completed equipment preparation in New York and then went on site at the D.C. boutique for final checks on equipment, managing on-site credit card and sales tax setup, system testing, and on-the-job training for employees. The team remained for the opening and afterwards to answer questions, address issues that surfaced during the first hours of live operations, and provide additional training, including store closing procedures.
