Budgeting for 2017? Join the Microsoft Dynamics NAV User Group to Gain Valuable Knowledge from Peers and Industry Experts
Do you use LS Nav in your retail operations? Did you know there is powerful user group—with thousands of members including end users, partners, and industry experts—where you can share your challenges and solutions with other retailers?
The Dynamics NAV User Group, or NAVUG, is a community of nearly 17,000 members who exchange knowledge on how to best maximize product performance to tackle their challenges and accomplish their goals. Powered by users and designed for users, NAVUG specializes in the delivery of member-driven education and enriched networking.
Within NAVUG, there are several Special Interest Groups—or SIGS—including one for retailers. In fact, the Retail SIG is the third most popular (and growing) offered by NAVUG. Led by Shannon Price, Director of Financial Systems for David's Bridal and Tim O'Dea, IT Manager for Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, the Retail SIG has a blog, discussion threads, a library, and regular meetings.
At Summit 2016, NAVUG’s annual user conference, the Retail SIG met and had productive discussions around loyalty, identifying customers, and retail best practices. NAVUG and its SIGs are also very influential with Microsoft, LS Retail, and partners—with large numbers speaking in a single voice, people listen!
For example, retailers would like more retail-focused events here in the U.S. LS Retail holds its annual conference in Europe, so the bulk of information they provide, such as education on new features, is only available there—not a practical alternative for many North American retailers. Through NAVUG, this could be possible. And if you are a member, your feedback will be heard.
So, with all this value, is it expensive to join NAVUG? No. In fact, it’s a great value for the price, and NAVUG offers a pricing structure that meets the needs of any size company. There is no additional cost for joining a SIG.
ArcherPoint has been an active NAVUG member for many years, and in all that time, we have never stopped learning, growing, and benefitting from being a part of this amazing group of professionals. We hope you will include a NAVUG/Retail SIG membership in your budget for 2017. If you would like to learn more, visit www.navug.com or give us a call. We will be happy to share our experiences with you. Here’s to a prosperous 2017!
